so
first day of sip.
can't say too much
bcos of confidentiality
which have been stressed on.
quite a relaxing fun day doing nothing much besides standing and walking around watching.
had our briefing
and assigned project titles.
mine being 'morphometrics and pelage characterisation'
which entitles me to a bintan trip.
but we can't start anything yet until we've gone through the animal workshop and health checkup which i have no idea when.
supervisor is jomer's friend which means trouble.
boy did he ask plenty.
and all knowledge as usual i have returned to whoever who taught.
no ecsape from school cos here comes homework.
looking at the various preserved samples was really an eye opener.
gone through developing x-ray film in the dark room
pig x-ray.
helping to position the almost hundred kilogram pig.
seen the rooms full of monkeys rabbits and swines.
pigs scream okay.
dressed in our scrub suit which was baggy and kept dropping and had a neckline so low.
have our own desk and computer.
people aren't too bad.
verdict: not bad a day at all.

but here comes the con.
sip location is the upstairs of the mortuary.
lift access is where the huge gate is past the loading and unloading area.
when left open anything inside can be seen.
not that i don't wanna ignore
but it's right in front.
i don't ever wanna see no dead body.
i would freak out.
and no walking about anyhow
cos i may just end up where i dont wanna be.
and
i needa go to sembawang for a few months.
oh the distance.

i keep giving myself reasons to stay.
